System was turned off upon arrival Once turned on system was running for a couple mins before the condenser fan shut off smoking hot Condenser fan motor is bad needs replaced All fins on condenser are 80-90% completely closed from being bent over We can replace motor but we will not warranty the motor because the system needs to be able to breathe and with these fins being bent over not allowing it to breathe properly that raises the chances of the motor overheating and going out and I can’t be liable for the motor under these circumstances System is so old that the data labels on all the equipment is unreadable Can’t read the hp of the motor that needs replaced I recommend replacing All equipment System is really old Furnace is a 60’s model and isn’t safe to run without co detectors in home And like I said earlier everything is so old that I can’t read the data plates to see exactly how old it is
Installation of new Lennox 14 Seer Dual Fuel system. Unit has Lennox 10 year parts warranty and 2 year labor warranty with Above and Beyond Heating and Cooling.
AC not cooling. Filter was clogged and dirty that was inside of unit. At time is service, unit was turned on and was cooling. Unit had a 17 degree temperature split. Unit is working and cooling home now. Due to filter being clogged unit likely froze up when running causing it not to cool. Unit does have high pressures on high side. Unit was 305.8 psig with 46 degrees of sub cooling, and 71.9 psig with 31.5 degrees of superheat. Unit is not cooling efficiently and has a restriction in the metering device. Unit needs to be pumped down, a new metering device installed with a filter drier, evacuated, and the system charge adjusted once it is repaired.
